Choose cuts that fit the planned meal
Skewers, chops, poultry and grilled vegetables need different comparisons. Check whether a stated weight refers to the uncooked cut and includes bones. For a mixed platter, ask how the pieces are divided instead of relying solely on a suggested guest count. Marinades and accompanying sauces also form part of the meal and may affect ingredient choices.
Be ready to serve when the order arrives
Food grilled for immediate delivery changes during transport; a cooking preference cannot guarantee the same result as dining in the restaurant. Review sides and packaging, then have plates ready. Chilled catering platters involve a different process and need their own reheating directions. Treat the two formats separately when comparing convenience and the amount of preparation required at home.
