Understand the broth before choosing toppings
Ramen brings together broth, noodles and toppings whose ingredients deserve attention. A vegetable-topped bowl may still contain a stock made with animal products. Ask about the broth, seasoning and any egg supplied. A flavour name such as miso does not disclose the entire recipe, so it should not stand in for ingredient information when choosing around a dietary restriction.
Assemble the bowl when you are ready to eat
Noodles packed separately can be combined with broth on arrival using the restaurant’s directions. Check packaging and temperature instructions instead of assuming the dish is ready to eat from its delivery container. Identify any crisp toppings as well. The journey and your intended mealtime influence whether an immediate delivery or a kit requiring preparation is the better fit.
