Compare commitments over the same period
A private meal operator may accept occasional orders, a regular schedule or a minimum quantity. Establish what creates a commitment and whether the unit price changes with the number of meals. A complete menu, a main dish and a delivery charge are different items. A trial arrangement should also make clear what terms apply once its introductory period ends.
Read the clauses that matter when plans change
Hospitalisation, absence or a change in appetite can require a quick pause. Check notice periods, responsibility for meals already ordered and the cancellation channel. Define the handover arrangement and complaints process too. A quoted price after estimated assistance is not a substitute for understanding the amount the business will actually invoice.
