Choose a format that is easy to serve
Whole cakes, individual pastries and dessert cups require different serving arrangements. Check the advertised number of slices, portion sizes and allergen information. For an assortment, ask whether flavours are fixed or selectable. A presentation photograph may show several pieces even when the price refers to one pastry, so compare quantities before choosing a box for a group.
Protect the finish until dessert time
Cream fillings, decorative toppings and glazes need stable transport and appropriate storage. Have a level surface ready when the box arrives, then follow the pastry maker’s instructions. For a surprise delivery, confirm both the time slot and who will receive it. Personalised messages, candles and utensils should be checked as separate options instead of assumed to accompany the order.
