Prepare practical support after the birth
Ready-cooked meals can reduce household tasks during the first weeks with a baby. Choose portion numbers around the people at home, their preferences and the help available. A postpartum-labelled offer is neither medical treatment nor a promise of recovery. Particular dietary requirements can be clarified with the midwife, doctor or dietitian involved in the parent’s care.
Give meals with a flexible delivery calendar
Before buying a gift card or several boxes, check the service area, lead times and ability to move the first delivery. Fridge space, reheating equipment and visiting hours matter more than a very large parcel. For a gift, ask about household preferences and allow the recipient to choose a slot compatible with returning home and settling into their routine.
