Identifying the municipality behind the North Shore label
Montréal’s North Shore covers a broad area and does not by itself define a meals on wheels territory. Popote roulante Rive-Nord identifies a sector around Repentigny and Charlemagne, while other organisations have their own areas. Give the municipality and postal code before applying. Similar regional wording should not be treated as proof that one provider serves the entire shore.
Comparing the schedules organisations actually offer
After identifying the correct territory, ask about covered days, admission conditions and menu selection. Community provision may require an application and may not address an immediate request. For occasional food, check restaurants against the exact address. In either arrangement, establish whether the recipient can receive, store and use the portions according to the supplied instructions, with additional help arranged where necessary.
